Bethesda, MD based Paromi Tea proudly announces that its pyramid sachet collection is officially Non-GMO Project Verified.

The Non-GMO Project’s familiar butterfly logo will now appear on the front of every package.

The Non-GMO Project is North America’s most trusted GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) avoidance label and is founded on ensuring people are conscious of what they put in their bodies.

In order to earn Non-GMO project verification, Paromi completed a rigorous process that included a comprehensive review of ingredients, supply chain and manufacturing facilities to ensure end-to-end transparency.

This certification adds another level of trust and helps ensure that everyone who enjoys Paromi teas gets the best experience from the safest ingredients.  “We chose Non-GMO Project Verification in part to deliver added value for our customers,” said Gregg Rosen, Managing Director of Paromi.  “We believe in a customer’s right to know what they put in their bodies and are committed to the promise that no genetically modified organisms have been included in our products.”

About Paromi Tea

Paromi Tea creates an oasis from the ordinary, providing teas with exquisite, carefully selected ingredients that are meticulously combined and tested in small batches to bring out the perfect balance of flavor and aroma. The name “Paromi” is derived from the words purity, aroma and inspiration.

Paromi Tea was started by Paul Rosen, who grew up drinking local “bush tea” in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Inspired by the tastes and smells of the fresh ingredients, he decided to make his own teas with the help of an herbalist and master tea blender. His goal: to create exceptional, full-leaf teas that are available to everyone.
